Concern Worldwide

Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian organization founded in Ireland in 1968 in response to the Biafra famine. Working in some of the world’s poorest and most fragile countries, it delivers emergency response alongside long-term programmes in health and nutrition, food and livelihoods, education, and water and sanitation, with a stated mission of ending extreme poverty.

Concern Worldwide US is a separate legal entity and holds its own profile on UNjobnet.

Most Concern roles are field-based in the countries where it runs programmes, from emergency and nutrition specialists to programme management, systems and finance; the Dublin headquarters and the London, Belfast, New York and Seoul offices carry policy, advocacy, technical advisory and fundraising work. Concern applies a programme participant protection policy and safeguarding checks to every appointment.
